Rotary Club of Wheeling Taste of the Market Returns to Centre Market in Wheeling

FROM: Wheeling News-Register (June 1, 2019) The sixth annual Taste of the Market organized by the Rotary Club of Wheeling was held Thursday night at Centre Market in Wheeling. The event benefited Youth Services System Inc. and the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley Lace Up for Kids. In addition to Morgan and Carder, members Melynda Sampson, Susie Nelson and Larry Bandi worked on the project. Hires also thanked executive board members Desiree Lyonette, Joshua Lief, Bob Hagedorn and Jamie Crow.

“Rotary is a service club of action. We have a wonderful club of supportive volunteers,” Hires said.

“It has definitely been a worthwhile project for Rotary, and we hope to provide more bags in the future for the Soup Kitchen and Catholic Charities,” Carder said.
